Meanwhile, as Mercury slows down in one of the more private sectors of your solar chart, take yourself off somewhere if you feel like some quiet ‘alone’ time. It could help you to sort out what you think about things.

April is a month for you to be out in the world, with Mars in your sign giving you the courage and the confidence to make your mark, backed up by powerful allies. Enjoy the fruits of your endeavours at the Full Moon on 20 April, the first of two this quarter in sister sign, Scorpio.

From 3 May–10 July you may find yourself spending more time than usual with members of your family, which may in part be due to a yen to visit childhood haunts. Sometimes we need to revisit the past in order to make our peace with it. With Saturn in compatible Virgo also going forwards in early May you’re ready to resume a journey or a project that you began last September. If this is a joint effort you and partner may well have something to celebrate at the second Full Moon in Scorpio on the 20th May.

On 9 May Jupiter comes to a standstill in opposite sign, Capricorn: a peak moment from the point of view of opportunities to expand your social circle and work portfolio. A period of consolidation will follow, lasting until early September.

At the very end of June Uranus also goes backwards in sister sign, Pisces: another peak moment when you can see how far you’ve travelled, either in a relationship or a project, and how far you still have to go towards an important goal.
