The Week Ahead
Monday 26th July through Sunday 1st Augusy
onday’s Full Moon may highlight financial issues for you, or more generally what you feel belongs to you as opposed to a partner or someone else. Then on Wednesday Mercury arrives in sister sign, Virgo, marking the start of a journey in one sense or another that will take you up to the beginning of October. And on Friday Mars joins your ruling planet, Saturn up at the top of your solar chart: the start of a period when you may find yourself working very hard to attain a particular goal. The more you put in, of course, the more you get out.
Your personal new year
elcome to your personal new year, which began with the Sun going into your sign on 21 December.
The day before, Mars goes retrograde (backwards), indicating activity’s likely to be at fever pitch on the home front, while five days later Mercury follows suit: cue double check your arrangements if you plan to travel or are just trying to get yourself organised.
2010’s shaping up to be a pivotal year for you when you may find yourself facing change in both your personal and professional life. December—born Capricorns in particular are already likely to be aware of this, with powerful Pluto transforming you as a person and in relation to others. Towards the end of last October Saturn moved to the top of your solar chart, an indication that you’d reached a peak in your career, but from 13 January your ruling planet backtracks and so may you; a period of consolidation’s necessary before you can go on your way (end of May onwards).
As if you didn’t have enough on your plate, unpredictable Uranus and expansive Jupiter land at the bottom of your solar chart within days of each other, on 28 May and 6 June respectively, bringing a new wave of change that you’re likely to experience most in your personal life. You may find yourself possessed of a sudden desire to move, or jolted into a new way of being by an event that takes you by surprise.
Exciting times! Pay attention to what happens between the Full Moon in opposite sign, Cancer on 31 December 2009 and the New Moon in your sign on 15 January 2010, as that may provide an insight into what’s in store for you.
