ith Monday’s Full Moon you arrive at a destination you set out for a couple of weeks ago. We could be talking about an actual trip, or the culmination of a project. Something to celebrate with friends? Meanwhile Mercury the Messenger arrives at the top of your solar chart on Wednesday, heralding a busy two months or so on the career front. And with action planet, Mars moving into compatible Libra on Friday you’re likely to be in demand socially, too. But then you never were one for standing still. So you’re not likely to have reason to complain, then.

Your personal new year

elcome to your personal new year, which began with the Sun going into your sign at 04:30 GMT on 22 November.

With action planet, Mars in fellow Fire sign, Leo (since 17 October) you’re very much in your element. It’s likely you’ve embarked on a journey of some kind, maybe a course of study, that’s firing you up with enthusiasm. Take note, however, that Mars retraces its steps from 20 December — and so may you in some sense, although it’s all the better to go forwards from 9 March 2010.

Looking further ahead, on 28 May 2010, Uranus enters the other Fire sign, Aries (you, of course, are the third) which may bring an exciting new person into your life, although not necessarily the most stable. A few weeks later this unpredictable planet retreats back into Pisces, but you’ll have got a taste of new and interesting things to come (think March 2011).

Talking of Pisces, your ruling planet, Jupiter enters this sign on 13 January, which may bring with it a desire to extend your house in some way or even move over the following year. You may also find yourself attracted to some kind of inner work that similarly expands your horizons.

Meanwhile mighty Pluto continues its passage through the money sector of your solar chart, encouraging you to look at new ways of earning income and put your finances on a completely new footing.

You’re the optimist of the zodiac and with the New Moon on 16 November, the only one of the year that falls in your sign, you can look forward with confidence to the new and exciting developments that await you in life, love and art.
