ou’ll be in information overdrive as your month begins. No sooner does the Sun go into Gemini than it catches up with Uranus; at the same time your ruling planet, Mercury starts travelling forwards again, with Jupiter and Neptune for companions. You’ll be operating at a very high mental frequency, with new ideas zipping round your mind and the confidence and vision to put them out.

Your personal new year begins on 31 May, when there’s a New Moon in your sign. New Moons signify new beginnings and this New Moon will be particularly important for those of you with birthdays around the end of May/beginning of June. It could mark a turning—point in your career or a particular relationship.

In June a number of important planetary shifts occur. First, on 4 June, Saturn finally leaves your sign, after a stay of well over two years. You’ll breathe a sigh of relief as the load lifts from your shoulders. From 13 June you should feel that things are really going your way with the Sun, Mercury and Venus all in your sign.

Then, on 17 June, Mars moves into Pisces, making your business or profession where the action is for the rest of the year. With Uranus also making an about—turn in the same sign, it’s a time to take risks and experiment — you just won’t be satisfied with doing the same old thing.

Still, as far as you’re concerned, variety is the spice of life.

January, February and March 2008

his quarter sees the departure of Pluto from Sagittarius, where it has spent the last 12 years, on 26 January. An era that has seen your relationships undergo profound change comes to an end, although with Pluto dipping back into your opposite sign from June to November, there may still be some loose ends to tie up. Pluto’s entry into Capricorn spells transformation of assets held jointly with another, while Jupiter’s presence here throughout 2008 is auspicious for the expansion of a business partnership.

As this quarter opens Mars is retracing its steps in your sign, and so may you be in a relationship or on a project that you put a lot of time and energy into last quarter. But you go forwards from 30 January and you reap the financial rewards from 4 March onwards.

Meanwhile Mercury spends from 8 January to 14 March in fellow Air sign, Aquarius, signalling you’re on a journey with more than one twist and turn. You’ll find yourself backtracking from 28 January, but it’s all the better to go forwards from 18 February.

The Full Moon on 21 February may show you where you’re headed in your personal life; while the New Moon on 7 March is a cue to make a creative new move in your professional life.

October, November and December 2007

ou may find yourself rethinking a project or revisiting a relationship as your ruling planet, Mercury goes into reverse from 12 October to 1 November, but thereafter you’re on your way. Meanwhile Venus’ return to Virgo suggests that you can proceed with something — or someone — you got so far and no further with towards the end of July.

With Mars resident in the money sector of your solar chart there’s a special emphasis on money and property matters this quarter. It may be that you’re able finally to attain a long–cherished goal particularly from 15 November onwards. A cautious approach could pay dividends. While Jupiter’s entry into Capricorn on 19 December bodes well for partnerships of both a personal and business nature for the following year.

With both Uranus and Neptune facing the direction of travel you can think about going forwards with a long–term project or ideal, which may lead those of you born 5–7 June in particular to make a sudden career move around 24 November, when a Full Moon in your sign may see you simultaneously at full stretch on the domestic front.

With Pluto nearly at the end of its long journey through opposite sign, Sagittarius you’re coming to the end of a cycle in relationships. Next quarter they enter a new phase.

July, August, September 2007

ou may start this quarter with a sense of being on the back foot, but from 10 July you’re on your way out of a situation that’s been with you since the end of May. Meanwhile Venus’ toing and froing suggests that a relationship will take up a lot of your time and attention these three months — but with someone else, your surroundings or a project dear to your heart? That’s for you to decide.

You receive a boost to your energy and confidence from 7 August, when Mars arrives in your sign, where it will stay until the end of September. This motivates you to go after your goals, whatever they may be. With Jupiter going forward in opposite sign, Sagittarius the same day, you won’t be short of opportunities to team up with other people.

For the last couple of years you may have been working hard on a project; by the time Saturn leaves Leo for Virgo on 3 September this should be complete and you’ll be at the beginning of a new cycle. The challenge you face in the following three years will be to build a new foundation, on the inner as well as the outer.

The New Moon/solar eclipse on 11 September is your chance to make a new beginning on several fronts simultaneously — home and family, career and relationships. Begin as you mean to go on.

April, May and June 2007

ith Jupiter at a standstill in opposite sign, Sagittarius April opens on a highly optimistic note. Opportunities to expand, both socially and careerwise, are at a peak. Mars’ arrival at the top of your solar chart motivates you to make new starts and to push for certain objectives well into May. From 12 April to 7 May Venus favours your sign, making it easier to get what you want, whether in life or in love.

Throughout May you may find yourself in a dreamy, idealistic frame of mind as Neptune in fellow Air sign, Aquarius moves slowly towards its about–turn at the end of the month. You may be inspired to write or to seek out the spiritual in some way, in order to fulfil a yearning within.

On 29 May Mercury, the planet that rules your sign, moves into Cancer, shifting your focus to money and property for the next couple of months. Matters come to a head around 15 June, after which you may experience a delay before something can be settled.

On the first day of June there’s a Full Moon in Sagittarius, which falls close to Jupiter, marking a moment that you may wish to celebrate with friends. On 15 June the Moon is New in Gemini, the only one of the year, the start of a new cycle for you. Begin as you mean to go on.

January, February and March 2007

ith Mars, Jupiter and Pluto all in opposite sign, Sagittarius the new year is likely to begin on the same upbeat, positive note as the old year ended. It’s a time of expansion, both socially and careerwise; of new initiatives developed and pursued in conjunction with others. You profit from your relationships, whether they’re personal or business.

There’s also a lot of activity in the career sector of your solar chart, especially with Mercury toing and froing for most of this quarter in it. On 14 February you may find yourself making a sudden decision to revisit a place you have been before. This may also apply to a domestic project; you get round to something that’s been in the pipeline for a while. In one sense or another you’re on the move and will be ready to go forwards from 8 March.

March is dominated by two eclipses: a Full Moon/lunar eclipse on 3 March and a New Moon/solar eclipse on 19 March. At the beginning of the month work on the domestic front comes to a climax; at the end of the month a new path opens up for you. Key to both are certain relationships with fellow–travellers — you know who they are.

October, November, December 2006

ou like to be on the go and you’ll certainly be that this quarter. The pile—up of planets in Scorpio means you’ll have your work cut out just keeping up with all the opportunities that present themselves. With Mercury in reverse gear from 28 October to 18 November you may return to a project that has been on the back—burner. But busy though you may be, you won’t lack for company in your endeavours. On 29 October Neptune goes forward in fellow Air sign, Aquarius and so will you with your dreams, ambitions and highest ideals.

For those of you born at the end of May/beginning of June in particular, November’s a month when you may once again find yourself casting around for something new to do. You’re mentally restless and may find yourself on something of a quest. Jupiter’s arrival in opposite sign, Sagittarius may see this extending to your relationships; certainly over the next 13 months you’ll have plenty of opportunities to expand your social circle.

Early December may be a time of endings and new beginnings as you strive to bring something to completion, while simultaneously looking to make a new start careerwise. By the Full Moon on 20 December you’re likely to have made quite an impact.

July, August, September 2006

our days into this quarter Mercury, your ruling planet goes retrograde or backwards — and you may think you’re doing that too. This may be frustrating with Mars at the same time urging you onwards and upwards, but there’s a reason you’re being asked to retrace your steps: for instance, you may need to re–cost a project you’ve just embarked on. If so, you’ll be in a position to progress it from the end of July onwards.

This may be one of a number of projects or activities you’re currently engaged with — you do like to have more than one thing on the go — that in the long term will help to establish your reputation or the success of a (business) partnership.

Later on the action moves to the domestic front. There may literally be more coming and going than usual, but you may also find yourself tackling jobs around the house that you’ve been putting off or haven’t felt motivated to do.

On 23 August and again on 22 September you have a chance to make a fresh start both at home and at work. Meanwhile with Pluto at a standstill in opposite sign, Sagittarius on 4 September, those of you born 14–16 June in particular reach a meaningful turning point in a relationship, from which you can only go forwards. Three days later a powerful Full Moon may throw up some surprising results in your career. One way and the other September is likely to be an eventful month.

April, May and June 2006

he beginning of April may find you working very hard at something you started around eight months ago: it could be a project you’re collaborating on with someone else, or it could be a relationship. Either way, you turn a corner and from 5 April go forwards.

Since the middle of February Mars has been in your sign, spurring you on to aspire to what you may have thought impossible or unachievable, but on 14 April the planet of action moves on, urging you to get a grip on your finances into early June. For most of April Venus shines at the top of your solar chart, making this an ideal month to give a presentation: you’re likely to be well received.

May, of course, is your birthday month, with both the Sun and your ruling planet, Mercury in your sign, followed by a New Moon on the 27th, which marks the start of your personal new year. Neptune’s standstill five days earlier signifies a moment when inspiration is at a peak and a path may open up before you.

On 19 June unpredictable Uranus makes an about–turn: those of you born 4–6 June in particular may make a sudden change of direction, or else decide it’s time to consolidate changes on the career front. Meanwhile the Full Moon in opposite sign, Sagittarius on 11 June is likely to show you where you’re going in a relationship.

January, February and March 2006

ou may find that you get off to a slowish start this quarter, but that’s likely to be because you’re completing work carried over from last year. Later in January, when first the Sun and then Mercury move into fellow Air sign, Aquarius, the pace will pick up. If you have something to say — and what Gemini doesn’t — the New Moon on 29 January is your cue to think about getting it out there.

On 9 February your ruling planet, Mercury’s entry into Pisces, where it joins unpredictable Uranus, accelerates change on the career front, although be prepared for things not going according to plan between 2 and 25 March. Then on 18 February Mars shifts into your sign, where it will remain well into April. This is a social and productive time for you, when you may find yourself running to keep up with ideas and events, they happen so fast. On 5 March Venus arrives in Aquarius, departing a month later. With both these planets in Air, you’ll be in your element and may meet someone special on your travels.

Look to make an exciting new start in your career from 28 February, which may well have repercussions for your home/family and partnerships. All is likely to be revealed in the light of the Full Moon on 14 March. At the very end of March Pluto stations in opposite sign, Sagittarius: a major turning point for those of you born towards the end of Gemini.

October, November and December 2005

ast quarter you began an important journey, which may have taken the form of enrolling on a course or undertaking a writing project, either of which could prove to be something of a learning curve. The journey continues this quarter, but from 22 November until April 2006 you’re likely to find yourself assimilating all that you have learned so that you’re better equipped to move on to the next stage.

Uranus and Neptune join Pluto in going direct, which should give you a sense of going forwards with your life on several fronts simultaneously — not only career and relationships, but also with your most idealistic ambitions. Neptune in fellow Air sign, Aquarius suggests you may be on a spiritual quest and as you seek, so shall you find.

Although you are an outgoing, sociable sign, some of the work you do this quarter takes place behind the scenes, particularly between 2 October and 10 December — a day from which you’re likely to find yourself going forward with something you began at the end of July. You’ll complete this particular project or journey in February 2006.

Other important dates for you to note are 14 November—4 December, when you may find yourself going over old ground, or retracing your steps with a significant other. It’s possible that you may have something to learn from each other before you move on.

July, August, September 2005

s the planets begin to take up position for this autumn’s cross in the skies, you may be aware of pressure building for you to communicate something important. You’re sometimes (wrongly) dismissed as shallow or superficial, but you are one of the thinkers of the zodiac and your sign is associated above all with writing, teaching and studying. You’ll be giving serious thought to what you have to say, particularly between 23 July and 16 August, and whatever you begin this quarter is likely to flower later in the year.

A partner or mentor could play an important part in what’s beginning to take shape in your life: their advice and support could prove invaluable to the success or otherwise of the project. Meanwhile a personal relationship or relationships — you’re usually involved in more than one — reaches a turning–point at the beginning of September, particularly if you were born around the middle of June. But you’ve been here before; it’s just this time you must make a decision about how you continue.

The period between 3 and 18 September is an important one for both new beginnings in your career and developments in relationships. But with the Full Moon on the latter date falling close to your ruling planet, Mercury, the way ahead should be blindingly obvious.

April, May, June 2005

his second quarter of 2005 doesn’t really get under way for you until 12 April, when Mercury, the planet that rules your sign, starts travelling forwards again, on the final leg of its journey through fiery Aries. This gives you the green light to proceed with something you began in early March, which, for one reason or another, you may have had to put on hold. By the second week of May you’re likely to have completed it and moved on.

June is quite an eventful month for you. You’re bursting with ideas; opportunities to get romantically involved are also at their height. Make the most of the rest of Jupiter’s passage through fellow Air sign, Libra: in October the planet of growth and good fortune moves on. Meanwhile around 14 June there may be a surprise development in your career, driven in part perhaps by your own restlessness and desire for change. Those of you with birthdays 11–16 June in particular are in any case likely to be undergoing a sea change in both your career and your relationships.

Meanwhile Neptune in the other Air sign, Aquarius, continues to favour long–term aspirations, especially of an idealistic nature. Dream on.

January, February and March 2005

t’s all go at the start of 2005, with no less than four planets, including your ruler, Mercury in your opposite sign, Sagittarius. Whatever you’re doing, it’s likely to involve negotiations with different people at different levels. With expansive Jupiter approaching a peak in its journey through fellow Air sign, Libra, you’re on a roll into early February, with prospects for creative endeavours or romantic aspirations looking good.

On 4 March Mercury enters fiery Aries, a sign it won’t leave until well into May. You’re naturally quick–thinking, but during this period your mind’s likely to be working at lightning speed. It will be a highly stimulating time for you, not least because you’ll be leading a very active social life. On 20 March Mercury turns around and you’ll have a chance to review the headlong progress you’ve made.

Two days later Saturn starts moving forwards again, on its way out of the money sector of your solar chart. In less than four months the financial pressure you’ve been under since June 2003 should ease. Meanwhile on 27 March Pluto goes into reverse, challenging those of you born 14–17 June in particular to look at what’s really going on in a significant relationship.

October, November, December 2004

ou blow into this quarter with a very fair wind at your back. The reason? A whole bunch of planets including your ruler, Mercury, has moved into fellow Air sign, Libra, raising the question of whether you’re doing what makes your heart sing. If you don’t feel fulfilled in your work or relationships, now’s the time to do something about it. Action planet Mars gives you a boost until well into November, while Jupiter spoils you for choice for a whole year. It’s an excellent time to collaborate with someone on a creative project, and to expand your social circle: your life will be enriched by your interaction with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.

Neptune in Aquarius completes a triangle of the Air signs (of which you are one) in the heavens, further inspiring you to go where the wind takes you—another way of saying, follow your dream. Many things seem possible at this time; whether they are or not almost doesn’t matter—what does matter is that you think they’re possible.

Meanwhile Uranus up at the top of your solar chart continues to reveal—to those of you with late May birthdays in particular—new directions in which you can go. This may make you more than usually restless, but you have a desire for change at this time that’s unlikely to be satisfied by sticking to the status quo.

July, August, September 2004

ou may well find yourself reflecting on the lessons you have learned about love and relationships as this quarter opens, with Venus slowly beginning to move forwards in your sign. In the previous quarter you’re likely to have had experiences that taught you a lot about yourself and how you relate to other people. Now you can move on, the wiser for them.

On 25 July Mercury, the planet that rules your sign, moves into Virgo, a sign it will not finally leave until the end of September. This gives you a chance to complete or take up again a project that you may have had on the back–burner for some time. It could be something that needs doing around the house, or a writing project. Either way, it’s something in which you’re likely to become deeply engrossed.

On 30 August Pluto begins moving forwards again in your opposite sign, Sagittarius: for those of you with birthdays 10–12 June in particular, pressure will slowly begin to build to make that career move or other major life change that didn’t quite happen earlier in the year.

The quarter ends on a high note for you, with both Mars and Jupiter entering your solar sector of creativity and romance. Heady stuff!
