Happy Birthday Pisces!

appy Birthday Pisces! And welcome to your personal new year, which began with the Sun going into your sign on 18 February. It’s aligned with both Venus and Jupiter, which augurs well for you.

You’re hosting beneficent Jupiter until 5 June, but the Wanderer returns to your sign later in the year, taking you on a journey of one kind or another on which you may have to retrace your steps. Look to January 2011 to arrive at journey’s end. Jupiter’s the bringer of good fortune and opportunities for growth in both your personal and professional life, but you must seize the moment, otherwise they might pass you by.

Uranus is also in your sign (since 2003) but departs it on 5 July. The seven—year itch is at an end! Well, not quite, because this unpredictable planet returns to Pisces from August to March 2011. This is when you may make a last—ditch break for freedom from whatever you feel is holding you back.

If it’s change you’re after — and that’s probably inescapable this year — then you have powerful support from Pluto in early Capricorn. It’s likely to drive you towards new friends and fellow—travellers who can support you in the goals you set for yourself.

Look to 10 March onwards to go forward with a business plan that may have been on hold since the end of last year, and as for love — well, with Venus in sister sign, Scorpio for an extended stay come September you may well meet someone on your travels. But from 8 October onwards a romance could get a bit complicated …

With the New Moon in your sign on 15 March you’re poised for a breakthrough of some kind. It may seem as if you’re in the midst of chaos but follow your intuition and you’ll find yourself where you’re meant to be.

f you were born at the very beginning of your sign, then the start of this quarter is likely to see you reach an important stage of a brave new venture or journey on which you have recently embarked. Over the next five months you’ll have a chance to consolidate the gains you’ve made.

Venus in residence in the money sector of your solar chart (since the beginning of February) helps to improve your bank balance and attract the resources of others through to early June. It may also represent an opportunity to form new business links with partners. Mars’ presence here from 23 April to 31 May encourages you to seize the moment.

There’s a lot of activity on the home and family front from 1 May onwards. You may find yourself revisiting old haunts or catching up with members of your family you haven’t seen for a while. On 17 May Saturn comes to a standstill in opposite sign, Virgo, which may be a testing time in terms of your relationships or goals in life, but at least you’re facing the direction of travel.

With both Jupiter and Neptune going backwards from 29 May and 15 June respectively, you’ll have a chance over the following months to reflect on the path you’re following and why.

January, February and March 2009

s the new year begins you may find yourself pondering all manner of things — where you’re going in a relationship, where you’re going full stop. It could help to meditate on this and see what comes through. There’s an emphasis on a hidden sector of your solar chart throughout this quarter, suggesting there’ll be a lot going on behind the scenes. You may have much more to do with your family than usual, whether it’s the family you were born into or a spiritual family of some kind. 2009 is likely to see an expansion of your spiritual activities and this quarter finds you at the start of that journey.

On a mundane level Venus’ sojourn in Aries February through June is welcome news for your finances. You/a partner may earn money from a project that’s been long in the pipeline and generally speaking the stuff that none of us can do without should be easier to come by. On 25 February there’s a New Moon in your sign, marking the start of your personal new year — begin as you mean to go on.

Saturn travels backwards all this quarter in opposite sign, Virgo, indicating you may face challenges in your relationships or at work, but face up to them and you will win through; while Pluto going forwards in compatible Capricorn is particularly supportive of the endeavours of early–born Pisceans.

October, November and December 2008

ith Mars in sister sign Scorpio, you may find yourself travelling in one sense or another during the first half of this quarter. Mercury going forwards from 15 October also gives the green light to a transaction or relationship that may have been stalled since the end of September.

November is a month when the bigger picture takes shape before your eyes. Your ruling planet, Neptune goes forwards on 2 November and Uranus does likewise on the 27th, with both dates likely to mark a turning point in your life. After five months when you may have felt as if you were treading water, you’re now in a position to make plans for the long term.

Also on the 27th Pluto re–enters Capricorn, strengthening your resolve to pursue an important objective; with Jupiter in this compatible sign until the end of the year, prospects look favourable. The New Moon on the same day bids you make some kind of new start on the career front.

December is likely to be a challenging month, particularly for those of you born 10–13 March, as Saturn slows down in opposite sign, Virgo prior to going backwards on the very last day of the year. It’s helpful to look at it in terms of re–ordering your priorities, so that you get clear about who and what really matters to you.

July, August, September 2008

ars’ entry into Virgo on 1 July sets the pace for this third quarter of 2008. Saturn is already resident in your opposite sign and Venus, not to be left out, enters Virgo in August. Whatever you’re trying to do, wherever you’re trying to get to, relationships — with partners, friends and co–workers — are key. So it’s worth investing time and energy in significant others; if you pull together, you can really go places.

In August Venus and Mars move on to Libra, with Mercury entering the sign of relationships on 29 August, there to stay into November. There will be things to discuss, maybe contracts to sign, but the latter are best done before 24 September, when Mercury goes into reverse for three weeks. With both Uranus and Neptune also retrograde, this is a quarter to pay attention to the ‘small print’ of relationships, in order to consolidate the changes of the previous two quarters.

With Pluto’s return to the top of your solar chart, it’s also a time to finish up a major project or phase of your career: a cycle is coming to an end and you’re within months of going on to new things. It all gets very intense around 8/9 September, but the rewards are potentially great.

April, May, June 2008

ith Pluto at a standstill prior to shifting into reverse as this quarter opens, you may have a sense of going as far as you can with one particular project. There may be unfinished business left over from the end of last year/beginning of this that you must deal with before you can resume the journey later in the year. But prospects are bright, especially around 9 May.

On 3 May Saturn goes forwards after nearly five months going backwards in opposite sign, Virgo, which has been a challenge for early (February) Pisceans. But whether you’ve faced difficulties in your career or a relationship, by facing facts and adopting a realistic attitude you’re likely to emerge the stronger.

At the end of the month your ruling planet, Neptune goes backwards, always a time of heightened sensitivity for you; a time to pay attention to your dreams and listen to your intuition. On 26 May Mercury also about–turns: spell out what you mean, particularly to partners/members of your family in order to avoid any misunderstandings.

Those of you born 9–14 March may be moved by a spirit of restlessness towards the end of June: a job or relationship no longer satisfies you and you may seek change for its own sake.

All in all, a quarter when you should be able to make considerable progress towards your goals, personal as well as professional.

January, February and March 2008

ith Jupiter and Pluto in compatible Capricorn, this is a quarter to aim high, but at the same time to be realistic about what you can achieve. This may mean changing your allegiances, perhaps because you have outgrown certain friendships and need to move on. On a more personal note Saturn in opposite sign, Virgo until July 2010 challenges you to face up to your responsibilities and meet your commitments to others. If you consider you have discharged these, then again it may be time to move on.

Those of you born 4–11 March are likely to be restless anyway, on the lookout for new and exciting things to do and new and exciting people to do them with. Meanwhile Mercury’s two–month sojourn in Aquarius may see you more than usually preoccupied with domestic matters, or seeking space to turn things over in your mind.

The Full Moon and lunar eclipse in Virgo on 21 February mark a critical moment in your career or a relationship, when the way ahead may be revealed to you. With Mars returning to sister sign, Cancer in early March a romance may be rekindled, or the opportunity arise to advance a project dear to your heart.

The New Moon in your sign on 7 March marks the start of your personal new year. Falling so close to innovative Uranus, it’s an invitation to embrace the new.

October, November and December 2007

uch of this quarter is concerned with relationships. Saturn is now in your opposite sign, Virgo, challenging you to look at them with a dispassionate eye and to face up to what they really mean to you. This is a process that will unfold over the next three years or so; meanwhile in the shorter term you may find yourself on an intensely personal journey with someone. Key dates are 12 October and 2 November and by the beginning of December you’re likely to have arrived somewhere.

Mars also spends the entire quarter in sister sign, Cancer, although it backtracks from mid–November: there may be more to a romance than first you thought; the story will continue well into next year. This is also a highly creative time for you when your imagination can take you to new heights. Feel your way into the future with the New Moon in Scorpio on 9 November; by the Full Moon on the 24th, which coincides with Uranus in your sign going forwards, you’ll know in which direction to go.

On 19 December Saturn goes backwards, giving you a chance to assimilate lessons learned since the beginning of September; the same day Jupiter enters compatible Capricorn, ushering in a year of professional and social gains.

July, August, September 2007

s this quarter opens Mercury’s in the middle of a two–month stint in sister sign, Cancer which may find you busy dealing with unfinished business, particularly something that came to your attention around the middle of June. From 10 July you move on, but as Mercury goes forwards Venus goes backwards in opposite sign, Virgo suggesting that you may need to retrace your steps on a project you’re working on with someone else. This is likely to take you into early September.

With Jupiter facing the direction of travel and Mars arriving in Gemini, you’re on the move from 7 August onwards. There are places to go and people to see. Then on 3 September Saturn moves into Virgo, which it will not finally leave until July 2010. This will be a period when you’re likely to face challenges in both your career and relationships, but at the same time you can work constructively towards your goals.

Dates to note are the Full Moon in your sign on 28 August and the New Moon/solar eclipse in Virgo on 11 September. The one’s likely to make it obvious what needs to change in your life, while the other may prompt you to set off in a new direction. Stay open to all the options that present themselves and flexible in your approach to people: that way you’ll make the most of the moment.

April, May and June 2007

ix days into this second quarter of the year Jupiter comes to a standstill at the top of your solar chart, a moment to capitalise on if ever there was one. It represents a career peak, from which you’ll be able to see just how far you’ve come — and how far you’ve still to go. Saturn going forwards from 19 April will help you to buckle down and do the hard work necessary to realise the potential of the time.

Also on 6 April Mars arrives in your sign where it will boost your energy and confidence until 15 May. This is a period in which to take the initiative, whether it’s carving out a new source of income or embarking on a long–haul project of some kind. Towards the end of May Neptune, the planet that rules your sign, slows to a halt, a time of heightened sensitivity and also inspiration for you.

On 29 May Mercury moves into sister sign, Cancer for an extended stay due to its going backwards from 15 June. Someone may come back into your life before the end of the month, or you may return to something that gives you pleasure as well as food for thought. With Uranus changing direction in your sign on 23 June you’re in for a highly stimulating and creative time. This is a quarter when you can go far towards your goals.

January, February and March 2007

he emphasis on career continues as this quarter opens, with Mars, Jupiter and Pluto all up at the top of your solar chart. Truly this is a time when you should be forging ahead, exploring new opportunities and turning, in some sense, your life around. This is something that’s been happening for you since late November/early December of last year, but it builds to a peak at the end of March, when you may find yourself standing on the brink of something completely different.

On 2 February Mercury enters your sign, only 12 days later to go into reverse until 8 March. It’s not due to leave your sign until early April. This gives you a chance to catch up with friends and family and work of both an inner and outer nature.

With Venus also in your sign from 28 January to 20 February and Uranus resident there long–term, the other main theme of this quarter is relationships. The Full Moon and lunar eclipse of 3 March in opposite sign, Virgo may spring a surprise on you (or you may spring a surprise on a partner); while the New Moon and solar eclipse of 19 March in Pisces is your cue to embrace whole–heartedly the future that is opening up for you.

October, November, December 2006

ravel, of one kind or another, is starred for you this quarter and it’s something you’ll be thinking about from the beginning of October onwards. We could be talking about going on a trip somewhere (if so, it’s likely to be long haul) or embarking on a course of study or some other project that expands your horizons. Intriguingly a significant other may be involved. Certainly with so many planets in sister sign, Scorpio this is a time when opportunities abound to spread your wings.

The feeling that the sky’s the limit is likely to be heightened by your ruling planet, Neptune’s standstill on 29 October, when a dream or vision may point the way to the future.

On 20 November it’s Uranus’ turn to go forwards in your sign: over the past five months you may have assimilated changes in your personal life; now you’re ready to move on. Four days later Jupiter goes on its way to Sagittarius, opening up new directions in which you can take your career over the next year or so. This is likely to have seen a remarkable transformation in recent years and the process is not done yet.

The Full Moon in early December and the New Moon on 20 December mark optimum moments to embrace change in both your private and professional life.

ou could hardly get off to a more auspicious start this quarter than with Jupiter going forwards from 6 July. Especially if you were born at the end of February, this is a peak moment for you, when many things will seem possible that did not before. By the end of September, Pisceans born in early March will also be experiencing the benefits that the planet of growth and opportunity bestows.

Uranus travels backwards in your sign, bringing change and insight in its wake; the entry of Venus into Cancer on 19 July, makes a triangle of the Water signs until 12 August. This is a very creative time for you, when if you go with the flow (as you know better than anyone how to do), you can travel to the furthest reaches of your imagination.

With Mars also in opposite sign, Virgo from 23 July to 7 September (and Venus from 6 September), relationships are starred for you this quarter. You’ll appreciate the warmth and closeness of family life; and may find yourself teaming up with someone to work on a joint project. Someone new may come into the life of single Pisceans — or someone may come back into it. Certainly with two New Moons in Virgo you have an opportunity to start afresh in a relationship (or relationships).

s this quarter opens you’re likely to find yourself going forwards from a period of reflection and review. You may have had second thoughts about the direction in which you were going, or a relationship, but this is now behind you.

On 14 April Mars moves into sister sign, Cancer, giving a boost to your energy and confidence into early June. You’ll find it easier to make progress with creative projects and also to make money from them. Long–distant aims and aspirations seem more attainable and life to flow with greater ease. With Venus in your sign for most of April, too, this is a month when love may blossom, in either a new or an existing partnership.

In May Neptune, the planet that rules your sign, comes to a standstill before retracing its steps in the heavens; this is a period of heightened sensitivity for you, when you’re particularly tuned into other dimensions and other worlds. On 27 May the New Moon in Gemini is your cue to make a new beginning of some kind, one that will have important consequences for your career or direction in life. s the new year begins you may find yourself evaluating both your goals and your relationships from a strictly pragmatic point of view. How can they best serve you? How can you best serve them? This is a process that’s likely to be complete in early February.

From 9 February you may find yourself dashing about all over the place as Mercury tos and fros in your sign; eight days later Mars goes into Gemini, a further indication of the pace quickening both at home and at work. Then on 28 February there’s a New Moon in your sign: a signal to dare to go where you may not have been before. Nothing venture, nothing win.

The Full Moon/lunar eclipse on 14 March in opposite sign, Virgo, falling as it does close to Pluto, is likely to cast a powerful light on the path opening up before you. Key to this will be your relationships with partners, friends and colleagues. It will be important to maintain a balance between them all in order to stand the best chance of success.

This being the quarter in which your birthday falls, you will find yourself on a roll well into March. You may feel compelled to push the barriers back as far as you can in all areas of your life. s this quarter opens you may have a sense of having got as far as you can on one of the roads you’re taking in your life at present, but from 26 October, when Jupiter moves into Scorpio, other roads will open up for you. The planet of growth and opportunity is in your sister Water sign for the next 13 months, marking a period of expansion and adventure when ‘going with the flow’ could take you to the places of your dreams. On the same day Neptune, the planet that rules your sign, starts going forwards again: an indication that you, too, will proceed with something that may have been on hold since the beginning of the year.

Those of you with birthdays at the end of February/beginning of March will already be aware of a new energy in your life, one that’s influencing you to go in new directions in your career and relationships. This energy is at its height in mid—November, when a spirit of restlessness and desire for personal freedom may lead you to break from the status quo in some way.

or those of you with something to say, this is the quarter to get it down and get it out. There’s usually a lot going on inside you, but Mars in compatible Taurus urges you to put it in concrete form and communicate it to a wider audience. In the process you may even make some money from it. Saturn’s entry into Leo likewise indicates that over the next couple of years you’ll be working hard to fulfil some important goal. This is something to which you’re likely to be giving a lot of thought between 23 July and 16 August. You tend not to be the most disciplined of people, following your dreams as you do, but this is a time when it will actually pay you to stick to a regime that supports you in what you have to do. So don’t neglect your health: the body, after all, is the temple of the spirit.

The beginning of September marks an important turning–point in your career, or position you hold in the world. Early in February the influence of Jupiter, the ancient ruler of your sign, is very strong, signifying that you stand to gain from a partnership in some way: the benefit could be financial or maybe simply through knowing that person, doors will open for you.

The combination of Saturn in sister Water sign, Cancer and Uranus in your own sign indicate you’re likely to be in the fortunate position of continuing to enjoy the support of old friends, while at the same time meeting people who open you up to new ideas.

On 4 March a busy two–month period begins for you, particularly on the financial front: you may find yourself juggling more than one job, or entering into protracted negotiations with someone. You’re in the mood to experiment, both with your appearance and your partners. As the second quarter of 2004 opens, Venus and Mars are dancing side by side at the bottom of your solar chart. On one level this is likely to mean a lot of activity on the domestic front; on another you could find yourself doing a lot of deep thinking about yourself and your relationships. The one may feed into the other, with interaction with family members teaching you a lot about yourself.

In early May Jupiter is at a standstill in your opposite sign, Virgo: those of you born towards the end of February in particular may find yourselves swept off your feet, there’s so much going on, both socially and careerwise. Mid–May it’s the turn of your ruling planet, Neptune, to come to a halt before moving backwards: your sensitivity is likely to be particularly acute at this time and you may pick up things that you wouldn’t normally.

On 10 June Uranus, currently creating change in your sign, also starts moving backwards: early Pisceans may go off the rails, even if it’s just to change your appearance. You’re in the mood to rock the boat, so partners had better look out.
