ith Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all at a standstill before going backwards or forwards, your birthday month is one when many things in your life will come to the crunch: relationships, career, or even the question of whether you’re going in the right direction. In some cases you may feel as if you’ve reached a point of no return; in others that you’ve gone as far as you can for the time being. You’ll fare best if, rather than let life come at you or leave things to chance, you take a positive, proactive stance: to paraphrase the poet, you are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul.

The entry of Mars, your ruling planet, into your sign on 10 November, is certainly a cue to take the helm, if you have not already, and set yourself a course for the rest of the year. Your energy is high and your confidence strong.

The Full Moon and lunar eclipse on 28 October is likely to cast light on where you’re going with a particular relationship, especially if your birthday falls around that time; while the New Moon in Scorpio on 12 November marks the start of a whole new year for you.

April, May, June 2008

ou’re steaming full speed ahead as this quarter opens with Mars in sister sign, Cancer egging you on to complete a journey in some sense or other that you got so far and no further with last November. Meanwhile with both Jupiter and Pluto in compatible Capricorn, you don’t have to venture very far to turn your fortunes around: there are opportunities right on your doorstep.

The first of two Full Moons in your sign falls on 20 April, the second on 20 May, marking moments when you’re likely to be particularly aware of what you owe to the support of friends, family and partners.

From 3 May onwards you may find yourself busier than usual with the details of partnership finances; while Mars’ arrival at the top of your solar chart on 10 May gives you the energy and confidence to put yourself out there and make an impression. On 26 May Neptune comes to a standstill at the bottom of your solar chart: a moment to check with your intuition that you’re on the right track.

In June Pluto backtracks into Sagittarius, marking an opportunity for you over the next five months finally to draw a line under the last 12 years of your life. By the light of the Full Moon on the 18th you’re likely to see what needs to be done, in order to open up a brave new future.

January, February and March 2008

our sign is ruled by two planets, Mars and Pluto, both of which are prominent this quarter. As it opens Mars is in reverse, an indication that you may have unfinished business with a partner, dating back to last September. But on 4 March Mars returns to sister sign, Cancer, putting you on course to resume a journey that you began last quarter and which you now see though to completion (early May).

Meanwhile Pluto arrives in compatible Capricorn on 26 January: during its passage through Sagittarius over the last 12 years you have seen many changes of fortune, but now you enter a more stable period, when it will be easier to make the changes you desire. With Jupiter also in Capricorn throughout 2008, there will be many opportunities to expand your social circle and build on the contacts you make.

Mercury toing and froing at the bottom of your solar chart keeps you busy on the home front from early January to mid–March; you may find yourself getting round to something you’ve been putting off.

Between the New Moon/solar eclipse on 7 February and the Full Moon/lunar eclipse on 21 February you may find yourself travelling an inner or spiritual path; while the New Moon in sister sign, Pisces on 7 March invites you to try something new, whether in love or in life.

October, November and December 2007

ou’re wearing your thinking cap as this quarter opens, with Mercury not due to leave your sign until 1 December (the planet of communication’s in reverse gear from 12 October to 1 November). This gives you a chance to get straight about a relationship or where you’re going in life generally.

With Mars in sister sign Cancer from 29 September to 31 December, this is a quarter when you can travel far — perhaps literally, perhaps with someone else, perhaps with a project of some kind. Whichever, it’s likely also to be a voyage of self–discovery. A peak moment occurs around 15 November, after which you may find yourself retracing your steps. But the journey resumes next quarter.

From the end of October Neptune goes forwards and so too will those of you born 10–15 November in particular, with a dream or ideal with which you got so far and no further at the end of May.

November of course is your birthday month, with the New Moon in your sign on 9 November marking the start of your personal new year. The Sun and Moon form a triangle in the Water signs with Mars and Uranus; truly a moment to embrace the new, whether in love or at work.

The arrival of Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn’s standstill in Virgo on 19 December indicate that you stand to gain through opportunities for advancement that unfold over the following year.

July, August, September 2007

10 days into this quarter you reach a turning point on a project or a journey you embarked on at the end of May. From then on you’ve got a following wind behind you. Venus’ shift into Virgo, then back into Leo suggests that by teaming up with someone else you can realise something towards which you may have been working for some time. Mars in opposite sign, Taurus is another sign to focus your energy on both personal and business relationships throughout July.

On 7 August Mars moves on to Gemini, while Jupiter goes forward in Sagittarius, a combination that opens things up financially for you. There are opportunities to expand your sphere of operations and you and a partner could really go places. Five days later a New Moon favours a new career start, one that may give a significant boost to your income. By the Full Moon in sister sign, Pisces on 28 August you may have something to celebrate.

In September there are two eclipses, in which Mars, the planet that rules your sign plays a prominent part. You may find yourself at a crossroads from which you can choose to go in more than one direction. On 3 September Saturn leaves Leo for Virgo, while four days later Pluto goes forward: professional and financial pressures ease; an old cycle ends and a new one begins.

April, May and June 2007

ince Pluto arrived in Sagittarius more than 10 years ago, you may think you’ve experienced more than your fair share of ups and downs financially, but the good news as this quarter opens is that opportunities to increase your income are at a height. Saturn’s change of direction later in the month also releases the brakes on work–related projects.

Mars in sister sign, Pisces gives a fillip to your romantic life well into May, as well as boosting both your motivation and vitality. It’s easier to get ahead with whatever — or whoever — is dear to your heart. On 15 May Mars moves on into Aries, focusing your energy on work and the everyday.

Travel of one kind or another is highlighted from the end of May onwards; come mid–June you may find yourself revisiting a place or a relationship which takes you down memory lane. The Full Moon in your sign on 2 May puts things in perspective for you, while the New Moon on 16 May is a cue to begin a new chapter in a relationship.

From 5 June until well into July Venus smooths your career path, smiling on your efforts to make a good impression; while Uranus’ about–turn on the 23rd favours creative thinking, preferably done on your feet.

January, February and March 2007

ith both Mars and Pluto in the money sector of your solar chart, you begin the new year as you ended the last: making an all–out push on the financial front. Fortunately you have Jupiter here too, until the end of the year, so there should be plenty of opportunities around to increase your income.

Much of the action this quarter is likely to take place at home, with people coming and going; alternatively you and a partner may find that a project (or two) keeps you busy and entertained. With Mercury zipping in and out of sister sign, Pisces, mentally and physically you’re on the go, but by the end of March you’re likely to have covered considerable ground either in a relationship or towards an important goal.

Saturn continues to dominate your chart, but this quarter you get a chance to consolidate the gains you made in the second half of last year; your responsibilites may be heavy but things get easier later this year.

The Full Moon of 2 February and the New Moon of 17 February are key dates for bringing a dream to fruition; while the Full Moon of 3 March and the New Moon of 19 March are turning points in making the most of the creative opportunities that abound to turn your life and in particular your financial situation, around.

October, November, December 2006

his is a pretty action—packed quarter for you, with Mars arriving in your sign on 23 October and Venus the day after. There are in fact no less than six planets in Scorpio on 24 October, truly a day you can call your own. With the two relationship planets in your sign (Venus until 16 November, Mars until 5 December) you’re at your most charismatic and dynamic. So go for it — the job, the relationship, whatever — this is your moment.

From 28 October to 18 November communication planet Mercury travels backwards in your sign, giving you a chance to review progress so far, before you commit to a project or a relationship (from the beginning of December onwards). With Neptune going forwards from 29 October and Uranus from 20 November, both creative inspiration and romantic yearnings are at their height.

On 24 November Jupiter leaves your sign for Sagittarius, opening up new possibilities for boosting your income in the next 13 months. Then at the beginning of December Saturn about—turns in the heavens: those of you born towards the end of your sign in particular, are likely to find yourselves flat out on the work front.

The New Moon in your sign on 20 November marks the start of your personal new year, so begin as you mean to go on.

July, August, September 2006

ith Jupiter going forwards in your sign, you start this quarter well placed to take advantage of opportunities that could significantly boost your income. Mars has been pushing you to make new starts in your career since the beginning of June and is not done with you yet. Meanwhile with Mercury in backwards mode throughout July you may find that an idea you’ve been incubating finally comes to term. And of course Saturn in this sector of your solar chart is keeping your nose to the grindstone. It may be a time of hard work and heavy responsibilities, but the potential rewards are great.

It’s not all work and no play, though. On 23 July Mars moves on to Virgo, to be followed in August by the Sun and Mercury, and in September by Venus. The action shifts to friends and associates; it’s through your interaction with them that you’re most likely to achieve your goals.
On 4 September Pluto goes forwards, marking another turning point in the ongoing transformation of your resources. Three days later there’s a Full Moon in sister sign, Pisces, favourably aligned with Jupiter, by the light of which you may find yourself with something to celebrate. If so, you’re unlikely to do it by halves.

April, May and June 2006

ou may feel as though you’re plugging away without really getting anywhere, but it’s not the case: the Universe has taken note of your efforts and will, in due course, reward you. This quarter you make slow but steady progress towards an important goal. You also have the support, strength and sheer munificence of Jupiter in your sign, a once–in–12–years opportunity to ‘go for it’, whatever ‘it’ may mean to you.

On 14 April your ruling planet, Mars goes into sister sign, Cancer, its home until 3 June, making with Uranus in Pisces a triangle in the Water signs, of which you, of course, are one. Take advantage of this planetary configuration to push forward with ideas, whims and whatever else comes to you in moments of inspiration or madness. The latter are most likely to occur around 22 May and 19 June. You may have a dream, vision or experience a breakthrough of some kind that could lead to you making subtle but significant changes in how you live or what you do.

Meanwhile the New Moon on 27 April in opposite sign, Taurus gives you a green light to get a new partnership off the ground; with what result is likely to be apparent by the Full Moon in your sign on 13 May.

January, February and March 2006

ou should have a sense of slowly but surely going forwards into 2006, as Mars completes the last leg of a journey through your opposite sign, Taurus that began more than six months ago. In a way you have redone a relationship or a situation at work and come mid–February will be ready to move on to other things.

Currently you are the fortunate host of Jupiter, which on 4 March about–turns in your sign. Those of you born 10–12 November in particular may experience a lucky break of some kind. The planet of growth stays in your sign throughout most of 2006, so make the most of the opportunitites it offers.

Meanwhile Saturn retracing its steps at the top of your solar chart gives you a chance this quarter to assimilate all that you learned in the last. It will stand you in good stead next quarter, when you’re likely to find yourself taking on new responsibilities. At the bottom of your solar chart Neptune continues to nudge you in a more creative, fulfilling direction.

From 18 February the focus of your energy shifts to the nitty–gritty of partnerships; by the end of March late–born Scorpions in particular may well have succeeded in completely turning round their financial situation. Your sign is not associated with regeneration and transformation for nothing.

October, November and December 2005

he big news for you this quarter is the entry of Jupiter into your sign on 26 October. And it really is big because this giant planet does nothing by halves. It will not leave Scorpio until November 2006, a period during which many opportunities for growth and advancement will come your way.

With Jupiter completing the fourth leg of the cross of planets in the fixed signs, every area of your life is activated — work, home and family, and relationships. Your ruling planet, Mars is retrograde as this quarter opens, indicating the importance of a stable relationship to your progress. You’re flat out on the work front, particularly around 22 November, when something you’ve been working on since mid—July keeps you on the go; while Neptune and Uranus both going forwards urge you to follow a dream you may have been secretly nurturing since the beginning of the year.

The New Moon in your sign on 2 November will kick—start you on this important phase of your life and you’ll have some idea of where it’s heading by the Full Moon in your opposite sign on 16 November.

The emphasis on finances, which have seen so much change in recent years, continues this quarter, with Mercury’s presence in the money sector of your solar chart suggesting it will be to your advantage to pay attention to the small print of agreements you make with others.

here’s an emphasis this quarter on career, with Saturn moving to the top of your solar chart on 16 July. This take–no–hostages planet will be there until September 2007, a period during which you may have your work cut out, but at the same time are likely to enjoy considerable professional success. Mercury also spends July and August in Leo, so your mental focus will very much be on what you need to do to achieve your goals and who will help you to do so.

On 28 July Mars moves into your opposite sign, Taurus, where it will stay until next February. This will be a significant period for building and maintaining one–to–one relationships, with both partners and colleagues. Meanwhile Neptune down at the bottom of your solar chart continues to beguile you with ideas, inspiring you to take up something creative that you will also enjoy. With Uranus in sister Water sign, Pisces, the sky’s the limit.

pril opens with your ruling planet, Mars stirring things up on the domestic front. You may find that you’re busy doing work around the house, or perhaps entertaining visitors. Meanwhile long–term resident in this sector of your solar ‘scope, Neptune, is subtly influencing your views on both love and life: around 19 May you may get a strong intuition about the direction in which you’re being guided.

On 1 May Mars moves on to sister Water sign, Pisces, where it joins Uranus: with this pair of planets in your romantic sector, you can certainly expect action on this front. Dates to watch are 15 May and 14 June. This combination of energies makes for wilfulness and rebelliousness, and if you’re not doing what makes your heart sing or feel you’re not being your own person, then you’re likely to make a personal bid for freedom.

Other dates to note this quarter are 24 April when there’s a Full Moon and lunar eclipse in your sign and 8 May, when there’s a New Moon in your opposite sign, Taurus. The former may reveal the truth about a particular relationship to you and the latter give you a chance to get on a new footing with a significant other.

January, February and March 2005

he focus is very much on material concerns for you at the start of 2005. Over the last 10 years your circumstances are likely to have changed radically and you’re building to another crunch point towards the end of March. With both your ruling planets, Mars and Pluto, driving you on, you’ll probably feel compelled to make any changes you deem necessary in order to go forwards into the future.

You’re likely also to go forwards with the last stage of a project on which you embarked back in June 2003; it’s been a long haul but from 22 March you enter the home straight. Meanwhile Uranus in sister Water sign, Pisces is putting a spark into your romantic life, as well as inspiring you to push back the frontiers in whatever you do.

The planetary emphasis at the beginning of February is very much on home and family. You may find yourself entertaining more than one house guest or even having a party; it certainly looks very social. On a deeper level the New Moon on 8 February is your cue to begin some kind of inner journey. Perhaps you will combine one with the other and start a group in your home where you will learn from one other. Whether you do or not, practical arrangements of one kind or another will keep you on the go throughout March.

ou’re on a journey, but you haven’t quite reached your final destination yet, although you come pretty close to it in early November—a time to consolidate hard–won gains, while at the same time remaining open to new ideas. If you follow your intuition, which is particularly strong at this time, you’ll find that the way ahead will open up before you.

The second half of October is a significant period for relationships. The Full Moon and lunar eclipse on 28 October in your opposite sign, Taurus, is likely to cast light on which way to turn, not just in a personal or business partnership, but also in your relationship to the divine, or the more spiritual side of life.

On 11 November your ruling planet, Mars arrives in your sign, to be joined 11 days later by Venus, a planetary combination designed to boost your personal magnetism. It also completes a triangle of the Water signs in the heavens, in place for most of the rest of this quarter. Many things will seem possible at this time that do not at others, so go for it, whatever ‘it’ is.

On a practical note, money and other material matters are likely to keep you on the go throughout November and December. This is an area in which many of you will have seen big changes; now you must attend to the detail, while not losing sight of the big picture.

his is a time when you can let the new and exciting in to your life without fear of losing what you know to work for you. Saturn and Uranus in sister Water signs, Cancer and Pisces respectively, mean that you can experiment with change, extract from the experience whatever it is you want to learn and go on your way.

With your ruling planet, Mars in commanding Leo for the first six weeks of this quarter, you’re in a position to dictate the pace at work. Mercury’s also in this confident Fire sign, indicating you’ll know what to say to inspire others to follow your lead.

These two planets then move on into Virgo, where they spend most of the rest of this quarter. This suggests you have work to do in getting clear about what you want from your relationships, the job that you do and where you’re going in your life.
