appy Birthday Leo! And welcome to your personal new year, which began with the Sun going into your sign on 22 July. On the same day Saturn re—enters Libra and the day after Jupiter goes retrograde (backwards) in fellow Fire sign, Aries. So particularly for July—born Leos you may get so far and no further for the time being with a new creative venture, but resume another journey you began at the end of October 2009.

With Saturn now having left the money sector of your solar chart, the financial burden you may have been carrying since September 2007 should ease, not least because your finances are likely to be in better shape for the care you’ve had to exercise. From 28 July to 3 October planet of communication, Mercury also tos and fros in this area of your chart: a period when you may find yourself busy with a number of projects, including some that have been on the back—burner for a while.

On 9 September planet of connections, Venus arrives at the bottom of your chart, there to stay until 7 January 2011: a period when you may give your home a makeover, perhaps because you find yourself entertaining more visitors than usual. Single and looking Leos shouldn’t have to venture very far for love interest: it’s right on your doorstep! Someone may even come back into your life between 8 October and 17 November.

For late—born Leos (18 August onwards) the way ahead, either in life or in a relationship may not be as clear as you would like, but this is a time to be guided by your intuition; it will lead you to where you’re meant to be.

With the New Moon on 10 August, the only one of the year in your sign, you begin an exciting new journey, all the more agreeable for the company of like—minded souls.
